Garvey/Allen STEAM Academy fosters a strong sense of school pride and community through its House system and extracurricular engagement. With over 300 students, maintaining high-quality student events, celebrations, and spirit-building experiences requires consistent financial support.
As a tuition-free, nonprofit charter school, Garvey/Allen offers exceptional programming. However, supplemental funding is essential to enhance these opportunities and ensure equitable access for all students.

Proposal Overview

1. House Dues (Required Participation) $40 per student, per trimester
Provides each House with funds to plan:

These dues will help eliminate the ongoing feeling of constant asks for donations and contributions throughout the year, while also preventing the school from having to absorb the full cost of every auxiliary, enrichment, or spirit event.
