Garvey/Allen STEAM Academy is officially preparing for 2026–2027 Black Hawks Visual & Performing Arts (VAPA) Tryouts, and we are looking for our next generation of performers, leaders, creators, and champions!
If your achiever is interested in joining Black Hawks Cheer, G Phi A Step Team, Goldie Squad Dance Team, or the AllenManiacs Drumline, now is the time to step up and represent the legacy.
Our VAPA program is more than performances—it’s about discipline, confidence, creativity, leadership, teamwork, school pride, and excellence. Whether your achiever shines on the mat, commands the stage, moves with rhythm, or keeps the beat, there’s a place for them in the Black Hawk family.
